Recognition and Awards

Jan’s work has received several Juror’s Choice awards in his twenty-plus years of showing at Sooke Fine Arts, including the Sooke Community Arts Council award in 2004.

He also received a Jurors Choice award at Sidney Fine Arts in 2007, West Coast Art Council award, “Celebrating Green Space,” and an Award of Excellence at the Oceanside Community Arts Council Festival of the Arts in 2008.  Another Juror’s Choice was awarded in the Look Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria show of 2009.
